A/B test: show free shipping in the top bar
If you show "Free shipping over €49" in a fixed bar at the top of the site, then average order value will go up, because shoppers know the threshold before they fill the cart instead of when they are about to pay.

Why it might work
Shipping is the question everyone has and hardly anyone goes looking for. If your threshold lives on the terms page or in the footer, shoppers find out in the cart. By then they have picked what they wanted, and a "you're €8 away" arrives too late or feels like a trick.
With the bar at the top, they do the maths while browsing. They see a €29 shirt and a €22 one and know that together they ship free. That is the decision you want to trigger.
How to set it up
In Bixlow you describe the change to the agent, it builds it on your site and launches it as an A/B test once you approve it.
- Write a short line with the exact figure: "Free shipping over €49". No asterisks.
- In the variant, add the fixed bar at the top of every page, mobile included.
- The original stays as it is: the threshold only shows where it already did.
- Run it for all traffic and wait for enough orders, because average order value needs a decent sample.
