Terms of service

Bixlow lets you build, configure and publish workflows, A/B tests, audiences, goals and server-side functions that run on websites you control, and measure their results.

Bixlow is a service for professionals and businesses. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are using it for your business or profession, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you are authorized to bind the company on whose behalf you act.

You must provide a valid email address and keep access to that inbox secure: magic-link sign-in proves you control the email, so do not share it. You are responsible for what the people you invite to your workspaces and projects do. Let us know at bixlow@plakastudio.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not use Bixlow to:

• break the law or infringe third-party rights;
• install the runtime on websites you do not control or without their owner's permission;
• process personal data without a legal basis or without informing the people concerned;
• distribute malware, phishing or deceptive content, or bypass security controls;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent your plan's limits.

You decide which workflows, code, copy, variants and goals you publish on your websites, and you are responsible for them and their effects on your visitors. You are also responsible for informing those visitors and, where required, obtaining their consent before loading bixlow.js (see the Cookie policy).

You grant us a limited license to host, process, display and run that content solely to provide the service to you.

The assistant uses third-party models, currently Anthropic. It can propose content and run available tools according to your instructions and permissions. Review changes and test code before publishing: outputs may contain errors, may not be unique, or may affect third-party rights. We do not guarantee business outcomes or that generated content is suitable for use without review.

To handle requests, we send messages, history and relevant project context, including code, resources or files used by tools. Do not include passwords, API keys or unnecessary personal data. Usage consumes your plan’s AI allowance; its scope and limits are shown when subscribing.

The price, currency, applicable taxes, billing cycle and limits are shown before you confirm a subscription. The specific plan conditions you accept supplement these terms and take precedence for the agreed price, cycle and limits; the DPA takes precedence on data protection. Stripe handles payments; Bixlow does not store your full card number or security code.

Each project subscription renews automatically and is charged in advance until cancelled. Cancel through billing management before the next renewal; if you cannot access it, contact bixlow@plakastudio.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Voluntary cancellation does not give a proportional refund unless required by law or expressly agreed. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes, which will only apply to a renewal after that notice period so you can cancel beforehand. Deleting your user account does not replace cancelling your project subscriptions.

Some offers include a trial of a paid plan, which may require a card. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first period of the plan stated in the offer is charged automatically. Each person may use only one trial; we may refuse or cancel trials obtained through duplicate accounts.

Bixlow, its code, design and documentation belong to Plaka Studio S.L.. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for the duration of the agreement. Your content remains yours. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve the product without any obligation to you.

When Bixlow processes personal data of your websites' visitors, it does so as a processor on your behalf, under the Data processing agreement (DPA), which forms part of these terms. We process your account data as a controller under the Privacy policy.

We work to keep Bixlow available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance and improve, change or remove features. If we remove an essential feature of a paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice.

The runtime is designed not to break your website if it fails, but you are responsible for testing your workflows before publishing them.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total contractual liability is limited to amounts paid for the affected service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to wilful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be limited; it does not restrict data subjects’ rights or data protection authorities’ powers.

We may suspend or restrict access to an account or project if you breach these terms, if an overdue invoice is not paid, or if necessary to protect the service, other customers or third parties. Except in urgent cases, we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix it.

You can cancel a project subscription through billing and delete your account in account settings. These are separate operations: before deleting your account, cancel the relevant subscriptions and arrange continuity of shared projects with your team. Contact bixlow@plakastudio.com for help. We may terminate for a serious breach, with notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it where appropriate.

When the affected service ends, the right to use the contracted features ends and data processed on the customer’s behalf is returned or deleted under the DPA. Request return before instructing irreversible deletion. Data we must retain by law remains subject to the purposes and retention criteria in the Privacy policy.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app and ask you to accept it again. If you disagree, you can close your account before it takes effect.

Spanish law applies, without prejudice to applicable mandatory rules. Disputes will be heard by the courts with jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules. No clause limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
