A/B test: sum up the product description in bullets next to the photo
If you sum up the description in four bullets next to the photo and move the long text further down, then you will get more add-to-carts, because on a phone nobody scrolls down through paragraphs to find out what a product is made of.

Why it might work
Read your own product page on your phone. Photo, title, price, selector, button, and then a block of text that starts "Our hoodie was born from...". What the shopper wants to know (is it cotton, does it shrink, is it warm, does it have a hood) is in the third sentence of the second paragraph.
Four short bullets at the top ("100% organic cotton", "Relaxed fit, order your usual size", "Machine wash at 30°C", "Made in Portugal") answer that in five seconds. The brand story is still there for anyone who wants it.
How to set it up
In Bixlow you describe the change to the agent, it builds it on your site and launches it as an A/B test once you approve it.
- For each product, pull out the four things people ask about most. Your customer service inbox has the list.
- In the variant, put those bullets between the price and the button, or right below the button if they don't fit.
- Leave the full description further down, untouched.
- Start with your most visited product pages, and run it on mobile only if that is where the problem shows.
