A Google Optimize alternative in 2026
Google Optimize stopped working on 30 September 2023, so today you need another tool. For something free with tests, Mida has a free plan; for an AI that proposes and builds tests in Spanish without a developer, Bixlow, from €24.17 a month; for a large company, Wingify (VWO and AB Tasty), Optimizely or Kameleoon.

What happened to Google Optimize
Google announced the shutdown in early 2023 and switched it off on 30 September that year. Running experiments stopped. If the Optimize snippet is still on your site, it does nothing: you can remove it.
What was lost, above all, was a free and easy way to run your first tests. That is why so many small stores have not tested anything since.
The options, compared
Facts from each vendor's website, checked on 2 November 2026. Prices exclude tax.
| Free with tests | Entry price | Spanish website | Who it is for | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bixlow | No (free plan analyses and proposes) | €24.17/month, yearly | Yes (and the app) | SMBs and stores without a developer |
| Mida | Yes, up to 3 live tests | $224/month, yearly | Yes | SMBs and marketing |
| Varify.io | No, 15-day trial | €199/month, yearly | No | High-traffic sites |
| Convert | No, free trial | $299/month, yearly | No | Agencies and technical teams |
| Wingify (VWO + AB Tasty) | No, 30-day trial | Custom pricing | Yes | Mid-market and enterprise |
| Kameleoon | No, 30-day trial | $495/month | No | Large companies |
| Optimizely | No | Custom pricing | No | Large companies |
If you used Optimize because it was free
Let's be clear: there is no free Optimize from Google any more. In this list, only Mida has a free plan that lets you launch tests, up to 3 live at once. To start testing without paying, it is the most direct option.
Bixlow's free plan does something else: it analyses your site and tells you what it would test first, with hypotheses ranked by impact. To launch tests you need the Standard plan.
If someone used to build your Optimize tests
Optimize had a visual editor, but any serious change ended up with someone who knew JavaScript. If that person has gone, or never has time, you want a tool that builds the variant for you.
That is where Bixlow fits: you describe the change, or accept one of its proposals, and the agent builds it on your real site. You review it in a preview and approve it. The statistics are Bayesian and no winner is named until there is enough sample and duration.
If you want a full platform
For large teams that need feature flags, server-side tests or security certifications, the options are Wingify, Optimizely, Kameleoon or Convert. They cost more and are more technical, but they cover things a light tool does not.
